RCIA – The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
RCIA is the process in which the Catholic Church invites in and welcomes people to become part of the Catholic family. RCIA helps all to discern if the Catholic faith is home for them. This ministry is the process through which non-baptized individuals as well as those baptized in other faith traditions receive information about the Catholic Church. Through this RCIA process, you explore your desire to become Catholic, to receive the three sacraments of initiation. It is also for those Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. The classes meet once a week from September through May. Sacraments are received on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil.
